QLIMS Rapid Data Migration via ZIFO RnD’s qcKen Platform

Melbourne, Australia July 2021 – OnQ Software announced today that QLIMS will be integrated to ZIFO RnD’s qcKen solution for rapid data migration.
qcKen is a data migration service offered by ZIFO Rnd and OnQ Software is proud to be one the LIMS vendors who can now offer this service to it’s customers. Offering the solution to both new LIMS customers as well as customers with legacy commercial LIMS solutions is a unique proposition as data migration is cited as a major blocker for laboratories. Due to QLIMS modern architecture the integration with qcKen will operate very smoothly and efficiently through the mature API.
QLIMS delivered a built in data upload wizard allowing upload and mapping from csv and JSON files, but the benefits provided by qcKen are:
- ability to import, screen and check very large volumes of data
- migrate data from hand written documents
- migrate directly from other LIMS databases
Combined with QLIMS focus on configuration over customisation and product over project based implementation approach customers can implement faster and achieve return on investment sooner.
Existing case studies show qcKen able to reduce migrations from 40 days to only 2.The service focuses on helping customers set up master during LIMS implementation/migrations and maintaining master data on an ongoing basis. The solution can ingest data directly from any source documents like Certificate Of Analysis, Analysis Reports, Product Specifications, Worksheets, General Test Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. By reading pdf, word and excel documents to generate an RPA specification, analysts can easily review and correct anomalies as required. The service uses machine learning to continually learn and improve the conversion asccuracy, and once the RPA is approved by the analyst, qcKen’s Object Creation Engine takes over and creates objects in the target LIMS, in this case QLIMS.
This hyper-automation solution is aimed at customers realizing hopes of moving from the paper world to LIMS as planned. qcKen can also help Analysts focus on performing analysis rather than worrying about setting up master data.
